Description
RELEASE DATE: MAY 8, 2023
DURATION: 120 MINUTES
This program is intended especially for credit union managers and supervisors. A full description will be provided by the presenters soon.
Employers doing business in California who regularly employ five or more individuals must provide training to supervisory and nonsupervisory employees on sexual harassment and abusive conduct prevention. Every two years, nonsupervisory employees must receive at least one hour of training, and supervisory employees must receive at least two hours of training.
Although California has progressively increased state-mandated sexual harassment training requirements for employers, most states have similar training requirements for their employees. Not only is training employees on sexual harassment in the workplace mandated by California employment law, it is also arguably the first and foremost best practice in preventing legal risks associated with sexual harassment.
Our sexual harassment awareness and abusive conduct prevention training course meets and exceeds all federal and state legal regulations for compliance. Topics include the gender spectrum, reproductive health decisionmaking, bystander intervention, abusive conduct awareness, workforce diversity and inclusion, online harassment, and much more.
Be prepared when your examiners ask for proof of your staff’s Sexual Harassment Prevention and Abusive Conduct Awareness Training!
This program will satisfy California’s Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA) and the federal Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 California’s AB 2053, SB 396, and SB 1343
If at any time you feel like you need to talk to someone, you can call the National Sexual Assault Hotline at 1-800-656-HOPE.
